Frank Anthony Barral Dodd has been a professor at the Escola Superior de Desenho Industrial - ESDI, Rio de Janeiro State University since 1977, where he taught History of Industrial Design and presently teaches product design development. He was elected vice director of ESDI, and later director .For several years he represented ESDI at the University Council. He has an MA at The Ohio University, in Industrial Design, 2005, were he taught Visual Methodology to the undergraduates .He also taught History of Technology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Visual Communication Design at the Faculdade da Cidade, in Rio. For two years he was the head of the exhibition department of the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro. As exhibition designer he has designed and assembled more than a 100 exhibits. Presently he is studying for his PhD in Design at the University of São Paulo.
